Congratulation CCYHA U16 Blue Girls on OneHockey Championship

Congratulations to the U16 Blue Girls team on bringing home the championship at the OneHockey Tournament in Danbury over the weekend!! Playing up in the U19 Division, in the opening game the U16's tied Maine Evolution 2-2. They then beat Shoreline Sharks in the second game 2-0. Our U16 team lost to the Lady Flyers in their last game of the round robin play by a score of 3-1. In a rematch of the game vs the Lady Flyers, our U16's held them to only 6 shots the whole game, winning 2-1 and advancing to the championship game. The girls were buzzing from that redemption win and the euphoria carried over to the championship game where we defeated the Maine Evolution 2-1 victory.
